| Watching history channel brought back memories from a long time ago. I served on the Gold Crew between 1984 and 1987. Was a Nuke RO. The experience could never be traded. Port calls in Italy and Belgium were a great experience. Fondly remember the Holy Loch fish and chips as well. I made a lot of friends, but never kept up. | I was a nuc mechanic from 87-91. I am living in Washington where we decomissioned the pig. Went to U of W and am now a lead engineer on the 787 for Boeing. It would be great to hear from some of the ship mates. Peace my brothers. |
